    One pillar Pagoda Ho Chi Minh

    Ho Chi Minh complex includes a visit to the Mausoleum of the nation’s founder Ho Chi Minh the Presidential Palace, Ho Chi Minh’s house on stilts, the One Pillar Pagoda, whose origins date back to the foundation of city.

    Ha Long Bay

    Literally translated to Descending Dragon Bay. According to legend, the bay’s wondrous fair was sculptured when an ancient dragon swished its immense tail through it. The impressive formation of the bay has made Ha long Bay to be Vietnam’s most obvious attraction of the area with nearly two million visitors annually.

    Vietnam’s former imperial capital is recognised by UNESCO as a World Heritage site. With an area of 500ha and a system of three circles of ramparts, students will be taken aback by the scale of the buildings alone.

    Cu Chi Tunnels

    The Vietnamese are proud of their resolve in their prolonged history of struggle against invading armies and the story of the people of Cu Chi is indicative of that spirit.  The residents of Cu Chi then took their war underground developing a network of tunnels thatstretched as far as Cambodia and included meeting rooms, kitchens and triage areas.

    Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum (S21) originally an old school used by the Khmer Rouge turned into a torture, interrogation and execution centre. Followed by the Killing Fields of Choeung Ek 15Km from the city where you can see the moving memorial to the civilians that suffered under the hands of the Khmer Rouge.

    Angkor Wat

    The temple complex covers 81 hectares and is comparable in size to the Imperial Palace in Beijing. Its distinctive five towers are emblazoned on the Cambodian flag and the 12th century masterpiece is considered by art historians to be the prime example of classical Khmer art and architecture.
